❤️ Why you'll love these pizza rolls
- These homemade air fryer pizza rolls are sort of like Totino's pizza rolls, but also just their own beautiful unique food. The dough is completely different, because I used wonton wrappers.
- Wonton wrappers are conveniently the right size and shape and are an easy way to make homemade pizza rolls. The best part: they crisp up nicely in the air fryer. So the crust is thinner than American commercial pizza rolls, but also crispier and, I think, tastier.
- They're done in under 30 minutes!
- These mini pizza rolls make a great, quick snack for when you're craving pizza.
🍅 Ingredient notes
- Wonton wrappers - I use these mainly for convenience: they're the perfect size for pizza rolls! But I also like the crispy crust versus puffy doughy crust of store-bought pizza rolls.
- Mozzarella cheese - Use your favorite shredded mozzarella cheese, or a pizza blend.
- Pepperoni slices - I like these pepperoni slices, but you can use your favorite. In the photos below, I share three different ways that you can include pepperoni into these pizza rolls: full slices, sliced in quarters, or cut in eighths for even smaller pieces.
- Pizza sauce - use your favorite pizza sauce, whether store-bought or homemade. I prefer to use pizza sauce over marinara sauce or tomato sauce because of its tangier, richer flavor.
- Dried oregano - I like to add just a pinch of dried oregano to each pizza roll for added flavor.
- Water - you'll need a small bowl of water to use to help you seal the edges of the wonton wrappers.
Exact measurements and instructions are in the recipe card below, but remember that this is a very forgiving and flexible recipe! Play around with different amounts of each ingredient depending on your personal taste preference.
If you like the pizza rolls super saucy, just use extra pizza sauce! You can also experiment with different fillings. If you do, please leave a comment below and let me know what you used and how it tasted!

- Take one wonton wrapper.
- Place about 2 slices or so of pepperoni in the middle of the wrapper.
- Top with one teaspoon of pizza sauce.
- Sprinkle about one teaspoon of shredded cheese.
- Add just a pinch of dried oregano sprinkled over the top of the ingredients.
- Fold over one side, and then the opposite side. Dip your fingers in the bowl of water and seal the two edges together.

- Use the tines of a fork to press down on the rolled or folded ends to additionally secure the ends.
- Spray racks in the air fryer basket with cooking spray, then place pizza rolls onto the racks in a single layer. For best results, and to get crispy pizza rolls, lightly spray the tops of the rolls with olive oil.
- Air fry pizza rolls at 380°F for 14 minutes of cook time. Halfway through cooking at about the 7 minute mark, check on the pizza rolls and rotate between racks as needed for even cooking.
- Allow to cool slightly at room temperature before serving with pizza sauce, bbq sauce, ranch dressing, or your favorite dipping sauce.
