🌟 Why the air fryer is the best way to make frozen pizza

Crispy texture - Air fryers use rapidly circulating hot air which makes food crispy and piping hot in a short amount of time. That makes it a great option for frozen pizza -- much better than the microwave, which can result in a soft, soggy pizza.
Fast - Air fryer frozen pizza takes less than 10 minutes from start to finish -- faster than a conventional oven.
Easy - There's no prep time and cleaning the air fryer tray after use is a snap.
Great for pizza night - It's a great way to save time when you don't feel like making pizza from scratch.
🍕 What type of frozen pizza to use

This air fryer recipe works best with smaller sizes like a personal pizza or french bread pizza. Full-size ones won't fit in most air fryer baskets, especially if you have a smaller air fryer.
But you can still make a larger pizza in the fryer. Simply break it in half beforehand and follow the same instructions below!
Plus, you can use any brand of frozen pizza you prefer. I used DiGiorno for this recipe, but feel free to use Red Baron, Totino's, or a host of other different brands. Just choose whichever is your favorite. You'll still get a delicious pizza!
Optional: spray oil over the top of the pizza before cooking if you want to add crispiness to it.
✅ Step-by-step instructions
Here's how to make this easy air fryer frozen pizza recipe (for full details, see the recipe card at the bottom of this post).

1. Remove pizza from packaging and place it in the center of your air fryer basket. Optional: Spray top of pizza with vegetable oil or olive oil.
2. Set the temperature to 325° for 7-8 minutes of cook time, or until cheese is melted and golden brown, and you have a crispy crust.
Note: All air fryers cook a bit differently, so you may need to adjust temperature and cooking time a bit depending on your air fryer model. See the equipment section below for the air fryer I use.

3. Carefully remove the pizza from the air fryer once done cooking.
4. Cut into slices and enjoy your tasty pizza, either on its own or with your favorite dipping sauce!
👩🏻🍳 Recipe FAQs
Yes, you'll likely need to make some adjustments depending on the type of frozen pizza you're cooking.
For thin crust pizza, cook for 2-3 minutes less so you reduce the chances of burning the crust.
Deep dish pizza may need to cook for 2-3 extra minutes more to make sure the deep dish crust is warm all the way through.
French bread pizza should be cooked at a slightly lower temperature as the cheese on top may burn before the pizza crust is fully heated up. Cooking for 6-7 minutes at 310° should yield the best results, but you may need to adjust depending on which air fryer you use.
You can definitely add the toppings of your choice to your frozen pizza, but there are a couple of considerations:
If the extra toppings aren't frozen as well, they may cook faster than the rest of the pizza and may burn, so watch out for that.
Since the air fryer uses quickly moving hot air, chances are your extra toppings may shift around during cooking, so don't be surprised if some have fallen off the pizza and landed elsewhere in the basket!
⏲ Kitchen tools and equipment

You can use any standard size air fryer to make this recipe. I use my Ninja Foodi 10-quart Dual Zone Air Fryer, which I LOVE because it's so easy to clean and air fries quickly.
But you can use any 6-quart or 8-quart basket-style air fryer or tray-style air fryer.

This delicious recipe is great as a side, a Game Day appetizer, or a main dish.
