This Strawberry Spritz recipe is easy to make with just three ingredients plus ice. It's a refreshing, not-too-sweet cocktail that's the perfect summer sipper.

Move over, Aperol Spritz. The Strawberry Spritz is its slightly sweeter (but still not too sweet) cousin, and it's taking the world by storm.
I love a good Aperol Spritz, but this Strawberry Spritz recipe is perfect for people who may not enjoy the bitterness of Aperol as much. Muddled strawberries add a slight sweetness to the cocktail, making it a refreshing summer sipper.

🌟 Why this recipe works

There are so many reasons to love this summer cocktail recipe, but here are a few top reasons you'll want to make this over and over again all summer long.
- Minimal ingredients - A bottle of Aperol and a bottle of Prosecco are both always good to have on hand, especially during the summer.
- Refreshing - It's light, refreshing, and a great thirst quencher on hot summer days.
- Batch-friendly - You can triple and quadruple the recipe to make a small pitcher. Perfect for having friends over for dinners al fresco.
🛒 Ingredient notes

Just three ingredients - plus ice! And one optional ingredient.
- Aperol - This is a bright orange, bitter Italian aperetif. It's made with orange, rhubarb, gentian, and chinchona. You can find it in liquor stores.
- Prosecco - Use your favorite Prosecco. If you don't have Prosecco, you can substitute Cava or a Brut sparkling wine.
- Strawberries - Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor. You can use more strawberries for more sweetness if you like.
The club soda is optional. I like to add it for additional fizz and bubbles, without adding more alcohol. But you can leave it out!

👩🏻🍳 Recipe FAQs

You can make a mocktail by using a non-alcohol version of Aperol, such as Wilderton Bittersweet Aperitivo. Then instead of prosecco, substitute with sparkling water.
The three main components of any spritz drink are a sparkling wine, an aperetif, and club soda.
Yes! You can triple or quadruple the recipe in a pitcher. Then refrigerate up to overnight. You won't want to refrigerate it for too much longer than 24 hours, as the strawberries will get mushier with each passing hour.
