❤️ Why you’ll love these pizza rolls

air fryer pizza rolls
  • These homemade air fryer pizza rolls are sort of like Totino’s pizza rolls, but also just their own beautiful unique food. The dough is completely different, because I used wonton wrappers.
  • Wonton wrappers are conveniently the right size and shape and are an easy way to make homemade pizza rolls. The best part: they crisp up nicely in the air fryer. So the crust is thinner than American commercial pizza rolls, but also crispier and, I think, tastier.
  • They’re done in under 30 minutes!
  • These mini pizza rolls make a great, quick snack for when you’re craving pizza.

🍅 Ingredient notes

ingredients for air fryer pizza rolls
  • Wonton wrappers – I use these mainly for convenience: they’re the perfect size for pizza rolls! But I also like the crispy crust versus puffy doughy crust of store-bought pizza rolls.
  • Mozzarella cheese – Use your favorite shredded mozzarella cheese, or a pizza blend.
  • Pepperoni slices – I like these pepperoni slices, but you can use your favorite. In the photos below, I share three different ways that you can include pepperoni into these pizza rolls: full slices, sliced in quarters, or cut in eighths for even smaller pieces.
  • Pizza sauce – use your favorite pizza sauce, whether store-bought or homemade. I prefer to use pizza sauce over marinara sauce or tomato sauce because of its tangier, richer flavor.
  • Dried oregano – I like to add just a pinch of dried oregano to each pizza roll for added flavor.
  • Water – you’ll need a small bowl of water to use to help you seal the edges of the wonton wrappers.

Exact measurements and instructions are in the recipe card below, but remember that this is a very forgiving and flexible recipe! Play around with different amounts of each ingredient depending on your personal taste preference.

If you like the pizza rolls super saucy, just use extra pizza sauce! You can also experiment with different fillings. If you do, please leave a comment below and let me know what you used and how it tasted!

  11. Allow to cool slightly at room temperature before serving with pizza sauce, bbq sauce, ranch dressing, or your favorite dipping sauce.
