Silly Monster Valentine’s Day Cards

Confession: I’m not a fan of giving out silly cheap toys or novelties that will be soon forgotten and/or thrown out by kids along with their Valentine’s Day cards. I’m not a fan of waste, or giving kids lots of sugary candy. I’m the boring mom who usually either puts together packs of pencils, erasers, and/or stickers that I’ve designed to go with my kids’ Valentine’s Day cards. I prefer to give out things I know other kids can actually use.

While I’m not a fan of the silly cheesy novelty toys & candy, I AM a fan of silly kid Valentine’s Day cards on their own. These are some silly monsters that I designed with the help of my son’s art direction a few years ago. My kids had fun giving them out then, and I hope you and your kids will have fun giving them out this year!

DIRECTIONS: 

1. Click here to download the FREE Silly Monster Valentine’s Day Card Printables. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to print these design printables, which you can download for free from Adobe.com.

2. Print out onto thick white cardstock (I like both this 80lb cardstock and this 110lb cardstock). For best results, use the highest quality print settings on your printer. Printables are great because you download it once, and can print as many as you want or need!

3.  Using a straight edge paper cutter or scissors, cut around the edges of each card design.
