These free Election Day printables and party food ideas will help you win election night viewing at home by a landslide!

It's an election year like no other here in the United States. So why not commemorate the momentous occasion with some election day games while you watch the results come in?
Election Night Viewing Party Menu
Even though we're in COVID-times, you can still have a special Election Night Viewing Party at home. We're having one with just us four, but you can also do fun Zoom parties and watch the election results come in with friends and family from all over the country.

So what do you serve at an Election Night Party? Patriotic party food in red, white, and blue, of course!
A lot of the same food you might make for the 4th of July would also work for your Election Night menu. Thinking seasonally, you might want to substitute cranberries for strawberries and raspberries.
Some red, white, and blue food ideas you could serve:

You could also serve classic appetizers and main dishes, but give them fun political names:
- Presidential Potatoes
- Bi-Partisan Bacon & Shrimp Pasta
- No-Bull Honey Bourbon Wings
- Rigged Rigatoni
- Winner Wings
Election Day Party Circle Printables

To make your election day food even more festive, I designed these Election Day Party Circles you can download for free! Save it once to your desktop and then print as many as you need for your election night viewing.
You can cut these out and use them in several creative ways:
- Use them as cupcake flags
- String them together to create a small banner
- Sprinkle them over your table as decorative table confetti
- Stick them to cake pedestals, wine carafes, beer bottles, wine bottles, silverware holders, and more!

Election Night Bingo Cards for 2020

Election Day Bingo is a MUST! Especially during this year's election.
We're sure to expect certain buzz words and specific people to make appearances throughout the evening.

I tried to keep these election day printables as bi-partisan as possible but let's face it: no matter which candidate you favor, one candidate came out with a lot more buzzwords throughout this election cycle than the other did.
I've included the names of Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates and their family members. You'll also find names of some regular political anchors and reporters we're most likely to see make an appearance at least once (if not all night long) on election night.
You'll also be able to cross off common buzzwords that we've heard throughout the campaign, as well as typical election night sightings, such as a cutaway to someone in the crowd wearing crazy political hats or t-shirts.
Election Day Printables for Kids

We've always included our kids in our political discussions – age appropriate discussions, of course. And, now that they are 13 and 16, they are very much aware of this year's election.
When they were really little, I designed an election night coloring map for the kids, but adults can use it too! Simply color in states red or blue as the national results are called on television.

Putting the bingo cards in the "Election Day Kit" pint glasses filling up with some goodies! Thank you for creating them!

Wow, what a post. I wish I had found this earlier, in Sweden we had poor coverage of the US election.

Hi Arlene! Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the PDF. I just clicked on the link in the post again and the bingo cards are showing up right after the party circles: they are on the same PDF. Are you using Adobe Acrobat? Maybe try refreshing the page and trying the link again? I can always email the PDF to you, too, if you are still having trouble seeing the bingo cards after the party circles in the PDF. Just let me know! Thank you! :)
Arlene says
Still can't download the PDF for Bingo game. Help!
Sandy says
Thank you for this!! I've been scouring the internet for election night bingo and coming up blank. Our small election night party just got that much more awesome!
Michaela says
Great ideas! Is it possible the PDF is missing the Bingo sheets? I only see one page of the Party Circles and no Bingo...
Marlynn Jayme Schotland says
Michaela - it was! Thank you for mentioning it. I updated the links and you should be able to see and download all of the party circles plus two sheets of Bingo cards now. So sorry about that!
Mama Munchkin (@globalmunchkins) says
I love all of your printables. You are making me look good lady ;) And, this election season definitely needs some lightening up so hopefully these will make the day a little less stressful!
Marlynn Jayme Schotland says
Oh thank you so much! I am so glad you like them and find them useful. And yes: less stress this election cycle is a good thing, right? :)
Monica says
Love this idea! How can i print the bingo cards? I can't find the link to print.
Thanks!
Marlynn Jayme Schotland says
I just updated the link now. Sorry about that! Glad you like them, Monica -- thank you! :)
Rachel says
This is such a fun idea! We're definitely going to need something to distract us from the craziness of the election!
Marlynn Jayme Schotland says
Thank you, Rachel! It's a bit of a wild ride this year, eh? ;)
Mary says
I LOVE this! What a fun way to deal with the end of such a stressful election season. We had a big party the night President Obama won his first election and it was so much fun! Sadly I am traveling on election day this year so there will be no party :( I would have loved to take advantage of all of your recommendations, including the adorable map for the kids to fill in!
Marlynn Jayme Schotland says
You could do election night bingo in your hotel room - with a glass of wine, of course! ;)
Catherine says
OMG I must do this Bingo game on Election Night! I'll be traveling for work all that week, so I may end up playing Bingo by myself in a hotel room with a bottle of wine, but hey - there could be worse ways to end the crazy 2016 election!
Marlynn Jayme Schotland says
Ha - I just suggested that Mary do the same since she is traveling! It actually sounds like a GREAT way to watch the election ;)
Erin @ Platings and Pairings says
Love this idea Marlynn! Plus, that icing on those cupcakes is calling my name right now!
Marlynn Jayme Schotland says
Thank you, Erin! Those cupcakes were dangerously good, too :)
Meredith {MarthaChartreuse} says
This is great!!! Love that you're lightening things up on what is sure to be a day many manicures are chewed threw.
Marlynn Jayme Schotland says
Thank you, Meredith! Nail biter of a day, for sure.
