    Brunch Bacon Bar Ideas

This Brunch Bacon Bar post is written by me on behalf of Tyson® Foods, Inc. All opinions are entirely my own.

With the holidays upon us, I look forward to spending time with good friends and family, enjoying a variety of holiday feasts.

What are you all up to for the holidays? We’re headed to Kansas City for Thanksgiving, then hosting Christmas here. In-between, we have a bunch of fun holiday parties. I can’t wait!

I love this time of year, but it’s also a little extra chaotic, right? That’s why, in the hustle and bustle of activity, it’s nice to take a little break... to put together a casual gathering of friends and just enjoy each other’s company.

Over good food and drink, of course!

    Brunch Bacon Bar

Enter: the Brunch Bacon Bar. In our circle of friends, there’s one food that almost everyone can agree on: BACON.

What’s not to love? It’s so yummy and super versatile.

So gather the gang on a Saturday or Sunday morning and enjoy some downtime this holiday season over a casual, low key Brunch Bacon Bar. It’s a fun way to relax before returning to the busyness of the season.

Here are some ideas to get you started.

The key to putting together an awesome Brunch Bacon Bar is keeping it as simple as possible.

    Bacon Cinnamon Rolls

Brunch Bacon Bar Cinnamon Rolls. Recipe on UrbanBlissLife.com

When we eat cinnamon rolls in our house, we usually enjoy them with a side of bacon. So why not combine the two so you and your guests can enjoy both in the same bite?

Use your favorite cinnamon roll recipe or, to save even more time, use your favorite pre-packaged cinnamon rolls. Top with bacon crumbles. Easy peasy! You’ll love the combo of salty bacon and sugary icing in these cinnamon rolls.

    Bacon, Cheddar, and Herb Biscuits

Bacon, Cheddar, and Herb Biscuits perfect for breakfast & brunch. Recipe on UrbanBlissLife.com

Biscuits feel like an indulgent brunch item to me, because they’re so buttery and yummy. They’re actually quite easy to make from scratch!

I like to use this simple recipe for Bacon, Cheddar, and Herb Biscuits. But, you can also purchase pre-made biscuits from your grocery store’s refrigerated section and top them with cheddar, bacon, and herbs.

    Bacon Fruit Parfait

You could put out a typical fruit tray. But there’s nothing typical about a brunch bacon bar, so suit up your favorite fruit and whip together some Bacon Fruit Parfaits. Simply fill small glasses with alternating layers of vanilla yogurt and fruit, then top with fruit and bacon crumbles. The combo of sweet and salty in these parfaits is divine!

This dish also helps balance out the savory Brunch Bacon Bar with something a little lighter and sweet.

Treat Your Family to Premium Bacon

Of course, you can’t have an amazingly awesome brunch bacon bar without some tasty bacon! For all of the brunch bacon bar ideas you see here, I used Wright® Brand Bacon, which I found at Kroger.

The bacon slices are thick, making it perfect to crumble onto the bacon cinnamon rolls and the bacon fruit parfait.

It’s also mighty delicious on its own. My kids love it!

So in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, throw your friends and family a Brunch Bacon Bar for a fun, relaxing get together. Because the season is so much more than just the big holiday dinners!

What other items would YOU add to your Brunch Bacon Bar?

These look like a lot of fun. I'd like to try it with turkey bacon or a vegetarian option too. Thanks for sharing

Oh my. I'm from Slovenia where we don't really use bacon that much, but this made me appreciate it a lot more. I especially love the bacon cinnamon rolls, I'll have to try them someday soon!
