👩🏻‍🍳 Recipe FAQs

4th of July Fruit Pizza with blueberries, strawberries, raspberries
Can I use a different base for fruit pizza?

If you don’t want to make or use a sugar cookie base for this delicious recipe, you could make a graham cracker crust or a shortbread crust. The graham cracker crust would create a much thinner fruit pizza, while the shortbread crust would create a thicker pizza.

How long does fruit pizza keep?

American flag fruit pizza is best enjoyed the day it is made. After that, the sugar cookie base starts to soften. Also, the fruit starts to get dry. However, you can store this tasty dessert in the refrigerator for up to three days. Make sure it is either sliced and stored in an airtight container or wrapped in plastic wrap.

What other topping can I use?

You can also use store-bought cream cheese frosting.
