Each year, the Bliss Kids and I go berry picking and try to freeze enough strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and marionberries to last us at least through the start of the new year. But kiddos: these Boozy Berry Smoothie Shots are not for you. These are Mom Smoothies, and they are divine!
This summer went so quickly, that we only caught the end of raspberry season, were able to load up on blueberries (although we only have two large bags left in our freezer), and didn't get nearly enough strawberries.
Enter Oregon Fruit Products' Pourable Fruit topping. Oregon Pourable Fruit is made from all-natural, non-GMO ingredients, and is available in Raspberry, Strawberry, and Blueberry. Each Pourable Fruit is certified Kosher and gluten free, too! You can find these at Fred Meyer, and coming soon to Safeway and Albertson stores. They come to the rescue when you want the freshness of summer fruit in the fall or winter.
As our summer berry stash dwindles, I love having Oregon Pourable Fruit available for smoothies and parfaits, to top waffles, yogurt, and pancakes. And, for treats that are just for grownups, too.
Kiddos: these are not the smoothies you are looking for. These are Mom Smoothie Shots, and they are divine!
Boozy Berry Smoothie Shots
While I love making mixed drinks such as Cinnamon Ginger Highballs, cider cocktails, and champagne cocktails, I'm always looking for cocktail drinks that can be made for large groups all at once. When entertaining, it's not as fun to have to tend to the bar all night making drinks one at a time. That's why I LOVE the idea of cocktail shots.
This recipe makes approximately 10-12 Boozy Berry Smoothie Shots in double shot glasses.
The ingredients are simple: Oregon Fruit Products' Pourable Fruit, almond milk, vodka, and bitters over ice.
I used Oregon Pourable Fruit in Pourable Raspberries, but you could definitely make this with Pourable Blueberries or Pourable Strawberries too.
Ingredients
- ยฝ cup Almond milk
- 1 cup ice
- 4 ounces Pourable Fruit Raspberry
- 3 ounces vodka
- 3-4 drops Grapefruit bitters or other bitters
Instructions
- Pour all ingredients into a blender. Blend well.
- Pour into approximately 10 tall shot glasses.
- Garnish with mint leaves, if desired.
- Makes approximately 10 smoothie shots in double shot glasses

I LOVE these Boozy Berry Smoothie Shots, and think you will too! Serve them up at your next brunch or welcome dinner party guests with these as they walk in the door. They are sure to put a smile on everyone's face!
Oregon Fruit Products
I'm a huge fan of Oregon Fruit Products, as I shared in this blog post. Last year, the kids and I had the most amazing experience visiting the Oregon Fruit Products headquarters in Salem, Oregon. We got to visit one of the blueberry farms, watch the berries being sorted and canned, and even had the pleasure of putting together some delicious desserts with CEO Chris Sarle.
Here's another recipe I created last year using Pourable Fruit (formerly labeled as Berrst -- don't worry if you see the old label in stores, it's the same product!): Berry Meringue Parfait
Cheers to Monday, friends!
Thanks to Oregon Fruit Products for sending me two Pourable Fruits to use for this recipe creation! All opinions and photos are, as always, my own.
