Before the end of each school year, the kids make a list of the things they’d like to do before summer is over. It usually involves standard items such as “go to the pool” and “go to the zoo,” but there are also always activities that surprise me. This year, my daughter has “buy and build a 200-piece puzzle” on her list. Random! But that’s part of the fun of it all.
