1bottle Champagne, Prosecco, or other sparkling wine
OPTIONAL GARNISHES: raspberries, orange rind, fresh mint leaves
Instructions
In a medium saucepan over low to medium heat, add the water, sugar, and raspberries.
Cook over medium heat for about 2 to 3 minutes, just until the raspberries turn soft and you can squish them with a spatula or spoon. Stir regularly, to mix together the ingredients.
Strain the liquid out over a large bowl using a fine mesh strainer, so that only the liquid is left in the bowl. Pour the liquid into a jar or measuring cup with spout that makes it easy to pour out.
Set out two glasses. To each glass, add 1 tablespoon of orange juice, 2 tablespoons of raspberry syrup. Then fill the rest of the glass up with Champagne or sparkling wine.
