In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk and table cream until combined and smooth.
Add the drained fruit cocktail mix and shredded young coconut to the bowl. Mix well to coat the fruit.
Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, up to overnight.
Top with maraschino cherries before serving.

Makes approximately 8-10 servings.Fruit: You can use two large cans of your favorite fruit cocktail mix, or a combination of: diced peaches, pineapples, guava, mango, ripe papaya. The total should be around 4-5 cups of fruit. Drain/strain well: Make sure you drain the liquid out of canned fruit cocktail well before mixing with the cream mixture. If using fresh fruit, strain out liquid before mixing with cream mixture. Otherwise, you may end up with liquidy fruit cocktail.
