Notes
Makes enough to serve 4 to 5 people as a dinner portion, or 6-8 people as an appetizer.Scallops: This recipe is written for sea scallops, also known as diver scallops. If you are using frozen scallops, make sure to thaw them overnight before using in this recipe. Doneness: Cooking scallops in the air fryer does not give them the same brown outer edge that searing scallops in a pan does. To ensure they are cooked, insert a meat thermometer into the center of a scallop; scallops are done at 120°F. Storage: scallops are best eaten soon after they are cooked. However, you can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 1 to 2 minutes. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in the microwave then pour over the reheated scallops before enjoying.
